Inspire. Lead. Transform.

AWHONN invites nurse leaders, educators, quality professionals, and innovators to share their expertise at the 2027 Leadership Development Conference, taking place February 1–3, 2027, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This premier leadership event brings together emerging and experienced nurse leaders who are passionate about advancing nursing practice, strengthening teams, and improving outcomes for women, newborns, and families.

The conference features distinct learning experiences for nurses wanting to develop their leadership skills. The Nurse Leadership Advancement Track is a continuing education program open to all nurse leaders seeking practical strategies, fresh perspectives, and evidence-based solutions for today's healthcare challenges.

Whether your work focuses on leadership development, quality and safety, financial stewardship, workforce resilience, nursing professional development, or operational excellence, your experience can inspire others and advance nursing leadership across the country.
