Guidelines to Reproduce AWHONN Intellectual Property

  1. Individually purchased downloads are intended for one user to view and use a single copy for personal, informational, and non-commercial use only. AWHONN offers licensing options for multiple users in hospitals, systems, or libraries. Inquire at permissions@awhonn.org for AWHONN titles on EBSCO, Rittenhouse/R2 Library or AWHONN direct. *Licensing is available for closed intranets or password-protected systems accessed by a limited and agreed upon range of users.   2. For Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic & Neonatal Nursing (JOGNN) or Nursing for Women Health, permissions are managed through the publisher and Copyright Clearance Center. Make requests via the permissions link at the article level at JOGNN.org or NWHjournal.org
  3. All products on this website published by AWHONN are the property of AWHONN and may not be reprinted, copied, or otherwise duplicated or reproduced without prior written permission from AWHONN.
  4. Granted permission to reprint, copy or otherwise duplicate or reproduce any AWHONN print or online/electronic materials is made on a one-time only basis. Additional reprint /reproduction needs must be approved by AWHONN. Some permissions will require payment of a fee.
  5. Manipulation of AWHONN logo (or other logos appearing in AWHONN materials or products) or additional logo placement or manipulation of any graphics or editorial content is prohibited without prior consent of AWHONN.
  6. AWHONN must be credited for any content that is reproduced/reprinted using the format provided by AWHONN staff or the APA Style Manual.
  7. AWHONN does not permit translations by individuals, professional translators, or translation services, unless authorized by the Chief Executive Officer. AWHONN will consider Publisher’s requests to make translations on a case-by-case basis. In some cases, AWHONN may contract with a publisher, who, in turn, will arrange for an accurate translation. AWHONN may require a one-time payment of a permission fee for this grant of rights, depending on requested use and anticipated distribution. AWHONN reserves the right to deny any translation request.

If permission is granted, a Condition of Agreement Form will be mailed to the requester entered on the Online Request Form. The Condition of Agreement Form must be signed by a responsible party, dated, and returned by mail or fax to AWHONN with applicable fees, if any.
