The Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) has announced the recipients of the 2022 AWHONN Awards of Excellence.
The Awards of Excellence honor AWHONN members recognized by their peers as exemplifying the highest standards of service to nursing. The Awards of Excellence are based on four categories: Practice, Education, Leadership and Research. Nominations are sought from AWHONN members and honorees are recommended for Board approval from the Member Awards Committee.
The 2023 honorees are:
Leadership Award:
Adriane Burgess, PhD, RNC-OB, CCE, C-ONQS, CPHQ
Education (Scholarly) Award:
Carrie Eaton, PhD, RNC-OB, C-EFM, CHSE
Education (Clinical) Award:
Patricia (Trish) Klassa, MSN, APRN, CNS-C, C-EFM, IBCLC
Honorees will be recognized during the 2023 AWHONN Annual Convention in June in New Orleans.
