AWHONN, the Association of Women’s Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, has identified the recipients of the association’s 2022 Publications Awards.
Each year, the editors of the Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic, & Neonatal Nursing (JOGNN) and Nursing for Women’s Health (NWH), in concert with their Editorial Advisory Boards, elevate the outstanding scholarship of one article from their respective journal’s previous year’s volume and acknowledge the contribution of the article with the Best of JOGNN award or the NWH Excellence in Writing award.
The following awards will be presented in June at the 2022 AWHONN Annual Convention:
- Best of JOGNN Writing Award to Laura Foran Lewis, PhD, RN, for the article, “Exploring the Birth Stories of Women on the Autism Spectrum.”
- Nursing for Women’s Health Excellence in Writing Award to Nakeisha S. Lindsay, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC, for the article, “Care of Pregnant Women With a History of Bariatric Surgery.”
