How You Can Help Protect Access to Abortion
More than half the states have laws that somehow restrict access to abortion. These state laws have not been enforceable because of Roe v. Wade. Once the Supreme Court releases its decision those laws become enforceable.
Abortion is essential to women’s reproductive health. It will take a lot of work to protect access to abortion.
AWHONN seeks to equip nurses to advocate against legislation that would restrict abortion access in their states and connect them to other advocates for abortion access in their state. The most effective advocates are those could vote for, or against, returning an elected official to office.
