Temporary Marketing Support Team Member
Support the marketing team by executing marketing tactics to support AWHONN’s membership, Convention, and education product outreach, including digital marketing and website content.
- Use targeted, multichannel communications to create awareness, build engagement and increase revenue in the marketing and Convention product lines.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and deploy digital marketing tactics including Google Adwords, LinkedIn advertising, email and social media marketing; evaluate and report on ROI of digital marketing tactics.
- Write and edit marketing copy and collaborate with graphic design team for campaign execution.
- Update website content, as directed.
- Develop, implement and improve marketing operations processes to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of department.
- Review analytics and stats to create reports.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
CONTACTS
Mainly coordinates with the marketing team and will interact with the Membership and Convention teams.
SUPERVISION
Reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Will receive day-to-day guidance from the Marketing Manager.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated creative writing and editing skills.
- At least 5 years of related experience working in a marketing environment, particularly at an individual membership association.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and improve ROI.
- Comfortable with WordPress editing and creating and posting content on websites and experience with the Adobe Marketo email platform is desired.
- Creative thinker, willing to take risks, finds new ways to accomplish tasks and think in nontraditional ways about membership acquisition and retention.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and establish and maintain effective lines of communications with colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible, manage multiple priorities and stay highly organized especially with high volume, numerous details and often under tight deadlines
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Continually motivated to succeed and improve.
- Advanced computer skills to include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of SEO and basics of PhotoShop, are extremely helpful.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION
This position is classified as a contract consultant. Hours required are 15-20 hours per week.
