Online Learning and Digital Products

  1. No Refunds: All purchases of AWHONN online courses, webinars, and digital learning materials, including PDFs are final and non-refundable.
  2.  Acknowledgment: By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this non-refundable policy. AWHONN does not accept purchase orders. Payment must be made before accessing our online learning resources.
  3. Course Access: You will be granted access to the purchased content upon successful payment. For individual purchases, access is immediate. For group purchases, group access information will be provided within 10-14 business days after payment is received.
  4. Technical Issues: In the event of technical difficulties preventing access to the course, our support team will work diligently to resolve the issue. However, this does not qualify for a refund. Please contact learning@awhonn.org for online learning access issues.
  5. Course Updates: We reserve the right to update or modify course content and/or course expiration dates. These changes do not entitle the user to a refund.
  6. Cancellations: If we cancel a course, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another course.
  7. Seat Transfer Policy: Transfer of seats after enrollment or registration of a course is not possible.

Hard Copy Books and AWHONN Merchandise

  1. Refunds: Hard copy books and AWHONN Merchandise, including t-shirts, cups, pens, etc., may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if they are in unused condition. Shipping and handling fees cannot be refunded, and the purchaser is responsible for paying for return shipping. Refunds will be made once they are inspected and determined to be in resalable condition.
  2. Missing items: Contact customerservice@awhonn.org to report missing products. Please have your order number available when contacting the AWHONN team.
  3. Questions: Contact customerservice@awhonn.org with questions about this policy and the refund process.

AWHONN Convention and Other In-person Events

AWHONN Convention

  1. Prior to the Convention, registration may be changed or canceled upon written request only. For registration fees to be refunded less processing fee, cancellations must be received on or before May 1 of the Convention Year. A $99 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be made after May 1. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own travel and hotel reservations.

AWHONN on Capitol Hill

  1. Prior to AWHONN on Capitol Hill, registration may be changed or canceled upon written request only. For registration fees to be refunded less processing fee, cancellations must be received on or before March 1. A $99 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds. No refunds will be made after March 1. Registrants are responsible for canceling their own travel and hotel reservations.

Instructor-led courses

  1. For questions related to the Fetal Heart Monitoring Instructor-led Courses, please contact your Administrator/Instructor or fhm@awhonn.org. Individual Instructors have their own refund policies related to attending their courses. Instructor fees for teaching a course are not included in Kendall Hunt pricing.

Individual Instructors have their own refund policies related to attending their courses. Instructor fees for teaching a course are not included in the course workshop pricing.

AWHONN Membership

  1. Refund and Cancellation Policy: AWHONN membership dues are non-refundable. This includes the annual administrative fee for those paying in monthly installments. When a year of membership is purchased using monthly installments, this is a commitment to pay for a full year of membership, and monthly payments cannot be canceled. Members who wish to cancel after completing their one- or two-year term of membership should submit their request in writing at least 30 days prior to autorenewal to customerservice@awhonn.org. The AWHONN Customer Service Team is unable to process membership cancellations by phone.

Every Woman, Every Baby Donations

At AWHONN, we greatly appreciate the generosity of our donors to the Every Woman, Every Baby charitable giving program. Your contributions help us make a meaningful impact in the lives of women and babies. As an organization committed to transparency and accountability, we want to outline our policy regarding donation refunds and cancellations. 

  1. Refunds: We regret to inform our donors that we do not offer refunds on donations. Once a donation is processed, it is considered final and cannot be reversed. We encourage donors to carefully consider their donation amount and ensure its accuracy before confirming the transaction.
  2. Monthly Donations: For donors who choose to support us through monthly contributions, we understand that circumstances may change. If you wish to cancel your monthly donation, we require a written request for cancellation. This can be submitted via email to giving@awhonn.org. Please include your full name, contact information, and any relevant details regarding your donation. 
  3.  Exceptions: While we generally do not provide refunds, there may be rare circumstances where an exception is warranted. Such cases will be evaluated individually by our team. If you believe your situation merits consideration for a refund, please contact us at giving@awhonn.org with a detailed explanation of your request.
